This morning I had an online call with Adelina talking about all things fonts. A font can define a piece of work, as we moved through the session we explored San Serif fonts and Serif fonts.

We also found out about how fonts can be used for different purposes, for modules such as our dissertations we were advised to use a San serif font such as Calibre or Arial. These fonts are clear to read and have a professional feel. Adelina also advised us to never use Comic Sans, this font is well known for being an unfavourable font. However, its intended use was to help people with dyslexia and children as the font is clear and the letters are formed correctly.

Fonts can change how a piece of work looks, one of Adelina's examples was Obama's famous poster which was put out when he was going for Presidency. The font he used for the word 'HOPE' is still well known now and people believe that this was one of the reasons why he was elected.
