Our final module launch for trimester one is Costume Design for Live Performance. I am very keen to start this module as it involves a make! This module will be the shortest module it is only running for five weeks. So today I started to complete some initial research to get ideas from what is already on the market. Below I have attached my first Moodboard which are my initial images which inspired me. I'm fascinated with the idea of using CD's to create fish scales or maybe manipulating plastic to hold interesting shapes???
In the afternoon we did a skills session which focused on the art of weaving, I enjoyed the making process. However, if I was to do more experiments I would use natural wool keeping with the recycling theme.
This module brief is one of my favourite yet and I can't wait to delve into it!!!!
