Continuing from last week I added channels to my corset, I did this through sewing two lines down either side of my stitch line at just under 0.5cm on both sides. The stitching lines took a lot of concentration as they had to be neat and precise. If it went below 0.4cm or over the channel would be too big or too small. For each channel a piece of rigilene was inserted to check that it fits comfortably and then repeated. Once all the channels were sewn the corset was pressed and then each piece of rigilene was steamed straight. The corset was to be completed before the next session. Overall, I felt competent and able to repeat this skill.
